My personal mission to help others create better desk setups wasn’t born out of convenience — it came from struggle. Like many, I spent countless hours at my desk, pushing through discomfort, clutter, and burnout. What seemed like a simple setup issue turned into a constant battle that impacted my health, motivation, and well-being.

I tried quick fixes, sifted through endless advice, and rearranged my setup more times than I could count. But nothing truly worked until I realized something important: a great desk setup isn’t one-size-fits-all. It has to be intentional. Personal. Built around your unique needs and goals.

That realization changed everything. I began learning about ergonomics, productivity, and design. I upgraded where I could, improvised where I had to, and slowly transformed not just my space — but how I felt in it.

It wasn’t easy. It took time, energy, and resources I didn’t always have. That’s why I started Serious Techies: to help others avoid the trial-and-error and build workspaces that inspire, support, and empower — without the overwhelm.
